Ms. Reed was, unfortunately, non-responsive to any form of communication. Weeks would go by with no response to the most basic inquiries. Ms. Reed also took it upon herself to engage with an individual that was not associated with my case and terminated our contract based on something that was to...ld to her regarding myself with zero evidence to back it up. Please be cautious with Ms. Reed. She’s a comfortable/complacent attorney who simply does not put in the work. A very nice person, but leaves something to be desired in her work. Would not recommend.

When I had called you , I had gotten a message and felt so sad as I needed help . Within 5 minutes ,you had c...alled me back and the process to what I needed began immediately to set up an appointment . I even had your para legal tell me text me your paper work immediately . The compassion and healing you all gave me helped me continue with my case that eased my anxiety . Even though my case isn’t done yet , Maria and her para legal stayed right with me and made sure they gave me the strength that I needed to get me through my court dates . I hired Maria end of 2020. My youngest decided to live with me and my oldest decided to live with her mom. I was initially paying 800/month for both my children. After going to court I ended up with the obligation to pay 750/month for one child while one lives with me and having to pay a lawyer. Ever...ything Maria promised as far as getting my CS reduced significantly was a lie. She would rarely return my texts. At the end of the case I was told to submit an objection letter. Not only did I have to write it myself but she gave me the wrong information and it was never submitted. My kids moms lawyer wrote her objection letter for her. She was absolutely no help during the case. I could have represented myself and saved myself the money. The only good thing about Maria was she allowed a payment plan which I was reluctant to pay since she did not do anything she promised to do.

During a support hearing, she had the audacity to claim a disabled United States Marine was faking his disability in order to gain sympathy with the court. Support hearings can get nasty but that is way over the line. I think it’s disgusting to question a highly decorated Marine of 2 tours in Iraq’...s disability rating. When you disrespect one veteran you disrespect them all and the members of my unit that I’ve talked to about this agree completely and will make sure to pass along to anyone else they know to avoid this woman should they ever neee a family court lawyer.
