Greg handled, and completed my social security case, in 2017. I needed his expertise in this area, and he did not disappoint. He and his assistant, are very good.
Greg Phillips handled my Soc. Sec. Disability claim flawlessly, He was very professional and explained every step of the procedure in layman's terms. With his experience & knowledge he helped me achieve my approval under our first request. From beginning to end was approx. 3 1/2 months !! Super Fast thanks to Greg following through on his end dotting the "I's" and crossing the "T's" prior to submitting the application and in a timely fashion. Even after I have received my approval letter from SSD, Greg followed up with a phone call went over everything thoroughly and was there for any comments, questions or concerns. Naturally everyone's cases will very for approval's and time frames depending on your specific criteria, but I can honestly give "2" thumbs up to Greg Phillips and his team for his professionalism in making this process painless and helping me achieve financial assistance for the rest of my life.
THANK YOU GREG !!

Great results, service and support
I retained Mr. Phillips very close to the court date for my social security appeal and thanks to Greg Phillips and his team I won my disability claim. He explained the the ins and outs - things happened as he explained they would. He and his staff were accessible and quick to return calls. I had some follow-on questions after the appeal was aver and he was paid, etc. and received the same great level of support. I emphatically recommend this attorney.

The Right Man for the Job
Before securing the services of Gregory Phillips to handle my social Security Disability case, I did a little research. Greg joined Segar & Sciortino as an associate in July 2002 to practice Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income law. After only three years as an associate, Greg was named Chair of the firm's Social Security Department. Pretty impressive.
As past chair of the Disability, Labor and Employment Law Committee of the Monroe County Bar Association, and a respected member of the National Association of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), Greg is held in high esteem by his peers.
When it came time to present my case for Social Security Disability to the Social Security Department, I was confident that Gregory T. Phillips of Segar and Sciortino was the right man for the job. He didn’t prove me wrong.
Greg and his assistant Marie effortlessly guided me through the process. Paperwork that could have been overwhelming, terminology that was like a foreign language, and rules and regulations that seemed confusing, became easy to understand thanks to Greg and Marie’s patience and incredible knowledge regarding the Social Security system.
With Greg Phillips excellent guidance, vast knowledge of Social Security law, and his friendly, professional demeanor, the time and money spent on the successful outcome of my Social Security Disability case was well spent.
I highly recommend Gregory Phillips to anyone that needs a top-notch lawyer that will listen to your concerns, answer all your questions and truly care about the outcome of your case.

Review for Greg Phillips at Segar and Shortino
A few years ago we were recommended to see Greg Phillips for my husbands social security disability case. We were very pleased with the results. Recently I was denied my social security disability case. We went to see Greg again. During my waiting period I had an issue that required Greg's immediate attention. He was not skilled in this area, but he made numerous phone calls on my behalf and advised me what should be done. He managed to get a dire need in place and sped up my court date. All said and done I was granted my social security disability and saved me a lot of heartache. Greg was recommended to us and we have recommended him to family and friends who were very pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. I would highly recommend Greg Phillips and Segar and Shortino Law Offices for your legal issues.

Could not have had a better lawyer.
I went to the office really upset and not at all sure what was going on. After reading the letters that were sent to me, it looked as if i lost all my benefits. Sitting down with Greg, his unbelievable knowledge of everything was totally mind blowing and really put me at ease. i left there feeling all the confidence i could. he handled my case as if I were family. He won my case and i could not be more grateful. I'd never use any other lawyer.

Not recommend this lawyer
Not quick to return phone calls ,sometimes not at all. My paperwork for ssi was lost the first time and not filed. Legal assistant and office personal act very bothered when you call to leave a message. Do not recommend you use this firm .
