Do NOT use this lawyer.

Showed up late for court, court had to call him. Very rude and condescending to his client. Only spoke with client one time via phone for half an hour. Did not get any information as to what lead up to issue.

Ask for a different public defender

Was appointed Mark Adrian for a matter in regards to my child. He didn't contact me until 20 minutes before the scheduled court time and he didn't have the case file with him even though he was appointed to the case over 2 weeks and was clueless. When discussing the case all he did was argue and trea...t me as if I was dumb and didn't go over options or possible outcomes, just wanted to get nasty with me. Thankfully my child's appointed lawyer knew what they were doing and advocated for what was best for them because Mark was useless. Better off representing yourself.

Citizen

Mark Adrian is currently an assistant public defender in Wyoming county. He does not take any time to talk with his clients about the legal proceedings and hinges on violating his clients 6th amendment rights to effective counsel. He believes that because he has been a lawyer for 41 years it is he wh...o matters and not the rights of those he is supposed to defend. Shame on him! He should not be an attorney for the poor. He does not care.

Key mistake

I hired Mr. Adrian for my divorce. He informed me during negotiations if I voluntarily agreed to pay for half of my childs extra curricular activities, co pays, etc., I would not have to pay for future college expenses. I agreed. Unfortunately the college part of this agreement was never put in the f...inal agreement. I paid a substantial amount above and beyond what NY state law demands. A decade later I must pay half of college after a trial. Both of us did not have attorneys in recent action. The support magistrate NOTED it was unusal to pay above, and beyond, BUT no mention of college at all in agreement resulted in my loss.
