Failed to review appropriate documentation that was pertinant to my case. Chose to represent hearsay within a trial without my consent and used personal information out of context. Was late on a number of occasions. My time felt very over used and under utilized. Verbal interaction with the judge an...d peers came off and unprofessional and uncomfortable as the client.

I have used Joanne Best for 2 custody cases, 2 child support cases and a divorce. She has been my lawyer for approximately 15 years. Every single case she paid close attention to detail as to achieving what was best for me and my children. She clearly presented my case to the judges and made it a poi...nt to specifically explain every thing that was relevant to the best interest of the child. I was so impressed with her work ethic and knowledge of family court that I contacted her for my current husband's custody case. In our most recent case we went to trial that lasted 5 days, and Joanne reviewed the case so thoroughly that she won it for us. Working with Joanne Best was the worst experience of my life. She drug out my law suit over a year, and cost me 3 times the amount she quoted. Her behavior in the court room was embarrassing to both me and the other attorneys involved. She spoke out of turn, talked over the other attorneys, and actua...lly told the Judge what to do. I was mortified, I will never use her again.

Joanne represented me in a divorce that needed to work with a large company to divide my husbands retirement and 401k. This was confusing and difficult and she worked even weekends to get this accomplished. When we went to court she was strong and in control and was respected by all involved.
