I was in a car accident in 2015 and had fractured ribs and injured my low back. I contracted the services of an attorney which was not a good fit and probably over two years of waiting the case did not move forward. The attorney turned the case over to John Ford and from that moment EVERYTHING changed. John contacted me immediately and we met at the office soon after. We reviewed the case and he explained everything that would occur going forward. i was kept informed every step of the way, my calls and texts were returned timely which instilled great confidence in him. My first impression on meeting him was that he was professional, on my side, smart and fast on his feet. By 2019 I had my settlement which was more than expected. he moved the case along. John P. Ford handles all aspects of litigated matters, from pre-suit discovery through trial. He is experienced in personal injury matters, motor vehicle/trucking accidents, injuries on property, products liability, and construction accidents. He represents individuals in all New York State Courts and in Federal Court, the Western District of New York.

Attorney Ford was recently named a 2014 Rising Star for General Litigation, as named by Super Lawyers magazine.

Attorney Ford received his J.D. from the University of Buffalo Law School in 2004. While attending law school, Attorney Ford was actively involved with the University's National Trial Team Program, earning Finalist awards as a member of the National Trial Competition and Texas Young Lawyer's Association teams. He earned his undergraduate degree from Canisius College where he played goaltender for the Golden Griffins' Soccer Team and was a walk-on guard for the Men's Basketball Team.

Currently, Attorney Ford is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and New York State Bar Association. He serves as an instructor and coaching assistant for the University of Buffalo Law School Trial Team and is a board member for the Northwest Community Mental Health Facility. In the past, Attorney Ford served as a radio color commentator for the Canisius College Men's Basketball Team on 710 AM.

Wonderful attorney!

John put me at ease right away. He was open and direct. He was not pushy when it came to making decision about my case or my care. I felt very comfortable and at ease working with him. I have never hired an attorney before and was nervous about the process, but I never felt intimidated while working with John.

Excellent job by an excellent lawyer.

John is very easy to work with, is very passionate and made everything really easy. I was stressing like crazy when my wife got hurt and then needed a lawyer. he was very helpful and got us through until the end. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an injury lawyer. Just a really good guy!

James injured in automobile accident

I was referred by my fiancé. In October, I was rear ended while stuck in traffic. Being in a panic as I was late for work, I completed an accident report, called the insurance company, and obtained a rental car. During the next two weeks my neck and arms were hurting like never before. When I met John he exhibited a strong sense of understanding my issue and how to resolve it. As time went on he developed more confidence in me to know he had my best interests at heart. We communicated weekly and I was always aware of the progress. Through Johns' strong commitment and dedication I knew the outcome was going to be favorable.
