Karl Martin Myles

Appearance is very unlawyerly. Came to my sentencing with ripped pants. Not recently ripped. There were strands of material coming off of the cuff his pants. He consistently asked me if I had paid him yet when I already had. He was late to all court dates except for one. The one he wasn't late for,... the courts sent me the wrong time on the letter and he didn't try to argue it at all despite me showing him the letter. He constantly got court postponed for 8 months and it was palpable that the judge was getting furious about it. He kept telling me that this did not seem like a jail case to him. I went to jail for a year. If I would've gone with a public defender and pled guilt I would have got a year. Complete waste of $3500. He also asked me to get letters from friends and family to attest to character as a good person who made a mistake and request leniency. As embarrassing as this was to ask, I did. The judge never got the letters, he forgot them. Not only was he late constantly, the day of my sentencing he actually told me to tell the judge he was running late.

Karl did everything he could for me from the minutes I've seen him. He found out how serious my situation was and was able to assure me of my options. His analyst was super accurate and he helped me with all of the supplement situations I had surrounding my incident. Even the ones that didn't invo...lve him! That kind of closure u won't get from another attorney. He "walked" me through, and I mean walked, the steps I need to take to make sure that my whole situation is correct...not just one part or a piece of the situation. We have a great friendly relationship as he is a funny guy also. He also understands situations that you or any other person may go through, and helps the best he can. I get out of court quickly...way quicker than a public defender or being by yourself can get you. He's made follow up calls with me and help me in ways the court would not allow me without him.. the best lawyer you can have!!

No one ever expects to find themselves in a situation like this. Believe me, I certainly never fathomed such a thing happening to me...and then it did. I'm beyond thankful that we found Karl Myles to represent me during this difficult life event. His vast knowledge of the law and the system I suddenl...y found myself in made the entire experience that much easier. Karl's clear explanations, hard work, and supportive manner were invaluable to me and to my husband. Karl was able to achieve for us the best possible outcome in this situation, and I will be forever grateful to him for that.
