I contacted this attorney for a restraining order in relation to ongoing harassment increasing in severity causing me to fear for my life from tenant neighbors with dangerous dogs. Per the web, family law attorneys are skilled in civil protective orders, as the police had failed to move forward with... a criminal order, despite 2 years of harassment. To say the least, he was negative and basically spent 5 minutes telling me all the things I can't do, based on family court, when there is also criminal court retraining orders. He suggested nonetheless a retainer of $1000.00 to write letters to my neighbors. Interesting. For anyone out there searching for an attorney, please be aware that just because one attorney can't or won't help, doesn't mean there isn't someone out there who can. Unfortunately, this pond is small.
