After someone else's carelessness left me with broken facial bones, blurred vision, facial scars and severe pain for over a year from a rear end collision, I had slipped into a depression and PTSD, almost accepting an insurance offer that was ridiculously low because I was told that's all I was worth.... Their representative got me to sign medical releases the very next day after the accident while heavily medicated for horrible pain and gained access to my entire medical history, even trying to use it against me.
