Michael Joseph Mucci

Attorney with over 20 years experience in Criminal and DWI cases, along with extensive experience in matromonial and family court matters. I am native of Binghamton, New York where he continues to live with his wife and children.  I am a graduate of Binghamton High School.  I have been practicing criminal and family law for over 19 years.  I received my Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing Michigan in May of 1995, Cum Laude. Prior to receiving my J.D., I studied mechanical engineering at Clarkson University and received my Bachelors of Arts in 1989 from Binghamton University, Binghamton, New York.

I am admitted to practice in the Third Department of the State of New York and the State of Arizona. Additionally, I am also admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Northern District of New York. My areas of concentration are in real estate, criminal law and family and domestic relations law.  I am a member of the Broome County Bar Association and the Southern Tier Defense Attorneys Association.

Prior to opening my own office I worked for the Law Offices of Remy R. Perot, as Senior Associate Attorney.  In this position I handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor criminal matters.  I also represented clients in matrimonial, family court and real estate matters.

I also worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Broome County, New York, where I represented thousands of  felony and misdemeanor clients in driving while intoxicated and traffic matters, drug related matters, property crimes, and crimes against individuals. I also served as a senior associate attorney for Legal Aid for Broome and Chenango Counties, where his primary focus of practice included child custody and visitation proceedings, support matters, abuse and neglect proceedings, adoption, divorce proceedings and civil litigation.
