Biography
Throughout my career I have served as a Senior Narcotics Prosecutor in the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office, Narcotics Bureau Chief and Chief Assistant District Attorney in the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office, and as a Senior Assistant Public Defender and District Attorney in Broome County before joining Loughran, Mucci & Grace.
In nearly 30 years of criminal law practice, I have had the opportunity to try every type of case before juries, including homicides, assaults, sex crimes, property crimes and DWI’s and have handled thousands of criminal cases, and participated in hundreds of Grand Jury presentations.
In addition, I was a full-time Professor of Criminal Justice for 7 years; teaching both at Marist College and Broome Community College, and served as an Adjunct Instructor as well. I have taught legal courses to Judges at the New York State Magistrates Association; Prosecutors at the NY Prosecutor Training Institute; Defense Attorneys through the Broome County Bar Association; and Police Officers through the New York State Peace Officer Academy, where I am a certified instructor.
