Craig assisted me and my wife through an Adjustment of Status (AOS) immigration case in order to obtain work authorization and a permanent resident card for my wife after we were married. Overall, we were very happy with the result - my wife received her permanent resident card in just under three mo...nths from the time we submitted our AOS application to the USCIS. Although my wife and I felt comfortable that we would have been able to successfully navigate the immigration application and review process on our own, we decided to hire an immigration attorney for the following reasons: - Heard a couple of horror stories from acquaintances regarding unfavorable outcomes when filing / applying for immigration status (however, also heard from several other people who had good experiences when going it alone) . - Receiving my wife's permanent resident status was time sensitive - only had about three months until we needed to travel internationally + accept a new full-time job offer - Decided that the money spent on hiring an attorney to provide reassurance that the immigration process would result favorably for me and my wife would be well worth it for the peace of mind.
