Edwina Carlie Schleider

Edwina C. Schleider (“Winnie”) is Special Counsel at Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP and is based in the firm’s Syracuse, NY office. Winnie concentrates her practice on the representation of individuals and entities involved in the areas of real estate and business matters, including purchases and sales of homes and commercial properties, with all related contract negotiations and preparation.

Winnie also represents a number of lenders in both residential and commercial transactions. In addition, she works with individuals and companies to form business entities and structure their ownership agreements. Winnie also has an extensive practice representing applicants before numerous planning and zoning boards in municipalities throughout Central New York.

Winnie received her J.D. cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law and her B.A. from Clark University. She is a member of the Onondaga County and New York State Bar Associations. She is an affiliate member of the Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors (GSAR) and the Central New York Mortgage Banker’s Association. In 2012, she was the recipient of the Affiliate of the Year award given annually by the GSAR to a member who demonstrates a strong commitment to the real estate community in Central New York. She participates in training sessions for realtors as well as presentations to first time home buyers.

She is also a Board Member and participant on the Fund Development Committee for On Point For College as well as an active member of the Women Business on Connection (WBOC).
