Alison Chamberlain has a passion for helping people through difficult times. Legal disputes can be unpleasant, especially when they concern something as important as your family, but Alison aims to reduce the stress of her clients by managing each case with competence and sensitivity.

Alison grew up in Camillus, NY, graduating from West Genesee Senior High School. She attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA for her undergraduate degree (B.A. in Political Science, minor in History), and attended law school at Syracuse University College of Law where she concentrated in Trusts and Estates and Tax Law and also served as Managing Editor of the Impunity Watch Law Journal, and Associate Editor of the Science and Technology Law Reporter. Alison is licensed to practice law in New York State. She joined the firm WHMB, PC in 2013 as an associate, and was made partner in January of 2017. The firm rebranded to Cayuga Law Group, P.C. in 2025. Her practice areas are Matrimonial and Domestic Relations, Family Court, Support Court, Adoption, Contract Drafting and Negotiation, and Traffic Violations. Alison also serves on the Cayuga County Assigned Counsel Panel, providing legal services to indigent members of the community, and has served on the Attorney for Children panel for both Cayuga and Onondaga Counties since 2014. Alison recently became a certified mediator, and has completed training in compliance with NY State part 146 for badic mediation. She joined the board of Fairmount Community Library in 2018, and also serves on various committees for the Cayuga County Bar Association, including the Law Day Committee, the Doug Bates Memorial Charity Committee, and was the founding member of the Cayuga County Bar Association Women's Committee.
