Exceptional lawyer, great listener, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable

“I had the privilege of working with Elizabeth on a complex financial matter, and her expertise was truly exceptional. Not only did she demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the necessary legal processes, but she also provided invaluable guidance throughout every step. What sets her apart is her abili...ty to listen attentively and connect with my team in a compassionate yet highly skilled manner. Her dedication, insight, and empathetic approach made a significant difference in achieving a successful outcome. I highly recommend her for any financial legal needs.”

Highly Recommend working with Faribanks Fletcher Law

We had a financial matter we needed legal guidance and representation for and Ms. Fairbanks-Fletcher made the process clear, smooth and easeful. She responds in a timely manner, keeps all appointments and answers questions. We were guided well.

Don't change your name on a whim!

Lisa helped me with a debacle that started when I changed my name at the age of 18 in 1979. I had zero paperwork from that name change, but I needed to prove who I was in order to get a new Real ID Driver's License. It seemed like an impossible feat, but Lisa was able to turn it into a smooth ope...ration. Since I'm in TX, she did all the leg work for me in NY/NJ. Managed to get my actual birth certificate and the paperwork needed to prove my name change. I literally could not have done this without her!

Elizabeth is not your every day attorney I'm here to tell you .the most caring take charge women you will meet, please read on

I'm Anthony me and my wife had built a small business for over the last 16 years, we survived hurricane Sandy with almost cost us our business and home. then covid-19 then we really experienced how tragic having such a small business can be in the world of complete shutdown. Every morning was a chall...enge to just get out of bed knowing that everything was about to be lost are home our business everything we work so terribly hard for side by side for many years. We walked into an office to talk to an attorney terrified that we were not going to be able to survive what has befallen us financially. We were greeted by a young lady who is very professional and brought us to a waiting room. Where my anxiety of meeting the attorney was starting to get the better off me my wife as well. But a lady had walked into the room not dressed like an attorney very casual but yet professional I assumed was the attorneys assistant. To my amazement it was actually Elizabeth our attorney who after talking to confiding in for a good hour not once did I feel like I was talking to an attorney I felt like I was talking to a lifelong friend who is compassionate about what we were going through but most of all projected such sincerity and how much she wanted to help. And I know most people thinks it's about money but let me correct you with that. Elizabeth is a professional and she does get paid for her services but here's a woman that went out of her way to explain in words o i know im old school not college grad, helping us file bankruptcy saving everything we had our home our cars she even at night would call with amazing news about a new Grant she had found with her relentless digging and looking to find new ways to help her clients. she found us a grant to help us with our home I do believe this woman Works Around the Clock. I would be at work sometimes she would call me with more amazing news on modifications and other things that reduced our payments help us out constantly, given all that does it sound like a lawyer to you? I'll tell you what I may be overzealous here but I'll tell you she's more than a lawyer she has become a friend sometimes she calls just to check in to make sure that everybody's okay who does that family members close friends right. well Elizabeth she never lost sight of my family. I believe from the bottom of my heart this attorney needs to recognized as a very skilled very compassionate modest but most of all a Pitbull when it comes to fighting for your rights don't take her gentleness as weakness or it'll be your undoing. I just wanted everyone to know Elizabeth become more than an attorney to us she has known to us as Elizabeth Fletcher a friend who has guided me through life's perils and been our Navigator our wheelhouse captain who has got us back on track and we are doing much better. We all know finances can be hard on a marriage a husband and wife begin to forget about each other because they're so overwhelming overcome by their situation,, but Elizabeth always found a way to remind us that we're strong together and we can do this, not to mention it is how amazingly easy she made. I'm going to stop here as I'm bringing tears to my own eyes because from the bottom of my heart I know she helped me (make it) thank you Elizabeth my friend. One last thing if you want someone to fight for you care about and your family your finances your home don't pass this woman by I'm not saying other attorneys are not as good but I haven't met too many that make you feel like family as she did for us. We wish happiness to miss Fletcher and her staff as well as you work together in a cohesive unit that not once made me feel like I couldn't express myself we'll talk about my problems. your assistant is amazing,, most loving people I've met in years again thank you from me and my family may your family and you be healthy and successful you have definitely earned my respect and gratitude sincerely Anthony we love you

The Best

I owed a lot of money to the IRS. I went to a CPA that someone recommended and after giving him a bunch of money, he said I still needed to pay the IRS. It was like he had done nothing at all! Then I went to Fairbanks Fletcher Law. Elizabeth asked me a bunch of questions that the other CPA never did,... and before I knew it, my tax problems were solved. It was like a ton of bricks was lifted off of my shoulders. She is the best - she treats you like a person and not just another client to get money from. Over the years, she has helped me with all my legal problems. I would never go anywhere else.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
