My bankruptcy situation was somewhat unique. The loan on my home, zoned for commercial and residential use, was purchased by a strictly commercial lender thus the taxes had to be paid in full rather than monthly which I was used to doing for 14 years. I managed to pay the lump sum for the first 2 yea...rs but was unable to continue the following 2. I was going to lose my house. The only other debt I had incurred was medical but it was sizable. Attorney Dantzman" held my hand" throughout our 1st bankruptcy, Chapter 13. Thorough, professional ,kind ,astute and patient ;he was always available to answer my many questions and assuage my concerns. I made the required payments for about a year. Realizing the likelihood of ever getting a regular mortgage was slim and I might find myself in this situation again down the line we decided to file for Chapter 7.
