Like many people, I was very stubborn about admitting that I was in financial trouble. I thought that my responsibility to credit card companies took precedence over my standard of living. I was actually embarrassed by my debt. I had maxed out my credit in just a year. That year was a blur. ...That year was the year after my husband died. I can honestly say I don’t remember using my cards all that much. When I finally realized I was getting late fees and had thousands of dollars in bills, the stress it caused was enormous. I tried paying a bit here and a bit there and barely living pay check to pay check. A friend said to declare bankruptcy. Of course I was horrified. That friend gave me Greg Danzman’s name and I arranged a meeting. Mr. Danzman met me with kindness and warmth. He assured me that I was doing the right thing for myself and my daughter. I was afraid I would lose my house and he a made sure I understood the law that protected my home. I left his office feeling lighter and like I would be able to get through my financial difficulties with his help. Mr. Danzman was patient and helpful guiding me through the paperwork needed to file with the court. There were many occasions when I needed to provide more information and Greg’s emails were always helpful reminders. I was always impressed by his helpful and prompt responses to me. He made a very painful decision into a positive change in my life. I would tell anyone to go to him for help and I am so grateful that I found him!
