About Melody
Biography
I joined Finkelstein & Partners in 1977 as a Case Manager. Very early in my career I saw the profound effects the firm had on the lives' of injured men, women, and children. I took on more and more responsibility in various departments within the firm while simultaneously earning my bachelor's degree and eventually my J.D. I am grateful for the experience and perspective I gained in my years as a case manager, and am honored that I'm now able to help seriously injured clients in a greater capacity. As a personal injury attorney, I've successfully obtained compensation for clients in an array of situations/cases, including slip and fall cases, motor vehicle accident cases, bus accident cases, motorcycle cases and so on.
While it is a great honor to serve injury victims in the Hudson Valley, I think it's important to give back to the community in other ways too. I support and participate in various community organizations and events, including the Newburgh Armory Unity Center, Big Sisters Big Brothers, Habitat for Humanity, Town of Newburgh PBA, the D.A.R.E program & Jr. police academy camp in the town of Newburgh, HONORS, and the Walden Rotary’s annual backpack drive. I am also proud to support the Town of Newburgh's K9 Unit.
