Eric Stephen Shiller

Have gone to Shiller Law Office time and time again and words cannot express how thankful I am for Mr. Shiller. Never go to court alone, always have Mr. Shiller as your lawyer. Over the last five years I have to admit I have needed a lawyer several times and have retained Eric Shiller. I have had 2... bad speeding tickets that he got me zero points on. I had a very serious DWI that I should have received at least probation on but Mr. Shiller was able to get it reduced to a traffic infraction and saved my job and my license. He lets you know what you need to do and Shiller is very blunt and explains everything to you and never keeps you in the dark. He knows the law and all the court people. Most of all he fights for you. So of course I hired Mr. Shiller to keep custody of my kids and he battled for me every step of the way to keep my boys showing that my ex was a bad parent. Shiller is worth every penny, he is awsome and will fight for you.

Eric Shiller is an amazing attorney! He modified my custody petition in my favor and even got me temporary full custody for the months leading up to the trial. He knows his stuff. He had my back the whole time and walked me through every step of the legal process. He cares about his clients and will ...fight for you at every turn! You definitely want him as your attorney! He’s worth every penny!

I chose Mr. Shiller after having a few terrible experiences with other attorneys! In my search I found a review that called him “Shiller the killer”. And I knew this is the guy I wanted in my corner! He is VERY straight forward, if your looking for a lawyer who’s going to tell you what you want to ...hear all butterflies and gumdrops he is not your guy! He’s going to tell you the hard facts! Before every appearance he broke down exactly what was going to happen and was right every time! I’m going into my 5th case with Shiller and I don't even have to question who to call, I recommend him every chance I get. Lawyers are expensive good lawyers are worth it! You absolutely get what you pay for! Shiller isn’t the cheapest but he’s also not the most expensive buttt he’s not going to waste your money you will get every pennies worth. I wouldn’t trust the fate of my children with anyone else!

Just days before going to trial, I was told by multiple other lawyers that I was basically screwed because Eric had done such little work to prepare. After firing Eric and hiring a replacement lawyer, the replacement had to completely pull the whole case because NOTHING had been done. When I say Noth...ing, I'm telling you that not a single subpoena had been filed, no discovery requested, NOTHING. Mind you, this is less than a week from the trial day where I was set to fight for my son. Fast forward.... I get my billing history from Eric. The man has charged out the ass for EVERYTHING, just so that he could keep the majority of my retainer. This man claims he charges $300 an hour but has the nerve to charge $100 to review an email or take a five minute phone call. Even my new lawyer that charges $375 an hour only charges $37 for reviewing an email. This guys a crook. He charged me almost $600 to appear in court for less than hour, a court date that he was over a half hour late for. Fast forward some more. Eric claims there was a little more than $300 of the retainer that was not used, that he HAS to return to me BY LAW. Now a month later... I'm still waiting for a check to come in the mail, Eric refuses to answer or return any of my calls or texts, and I'm now preparing to take legal action. It's not about the money, it's about principle. You pay a man up front for a service and you expect that service to be provided to you. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MAN TO ANYONE! IF YOU WANT A FAMILY COURT LAWYER WHO IS DRIVEN BY THE POWER OF FAMILY AND NOT THE POWER OF THE DOLLAR, THAN DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER!
