I was ticketed on the Taconic while moving to Virginia. Needless to say, I did not want to make the trip back up to NY to fight the charges! Joe represented me in court and succeeded in getting my charges and fine reduced. Joseph reeled me and my mother in, costing us 8 grand. For a custody case that went from I had final decision making & bio dad every other weekend 1 mid week visit. Her life was flipped upside down and given 50/50 to someone who dropped his responsibilities as a father for 5 months straight. He just ...disappeared. (Judge Martin also favors fathers) My daughter struggled extremely hard with this. Joe, informed me to take videos of the exchanges, I did, for what? I’m not sure. He did not care to watch them, he said it himself. “I’m not watching those videos sorry.” He then had us pay another 4grand for trial, he told us if we don’t go to trial he would refund money back. We didn’t go to trial, he actually lied and said he sent out one affidavit to cove care center(costing him 250$), but when I called and asked they said they never received any such thing. We went to get a refund and he took back his word and didn’t refund us a penny. He then knew what he did was wrong so started to cover up his wrongs by going to a child support hearing for me. (3 total) and the third ending in him once again lying. Telling me after the judge had asked Joe to call me and discuss the situation. We did, he promised me after I agreed to dropping the violation for no payment and an increase in support- ONLY because Joe said himself he would sit down with me and file all of this and be there. I asked him more than once are you sure Joe because I’m only doing this if you can still help me. He said yes I’m sure. He even made an appointment with me for August 13th. He then said he won’t be doing it. Told me to do it myself. He also said “I will put my name on it if your daughter is caught with (a man who was arrested for touching himself infront of 13 year old girls) this man being my daughters fathers, bestfriend. Well, my friend who works at Dunkin’ Donuts in Patterson served them at the drive through after his arrest. I told Joe, he didn’t even acknowledge it. I don’t suggest even taking him on unless you want to be lied to and be given false promises. & have your child and yourself completely failed. Also he takes forever to answer when it’s actually important. Then has so many excuses as to why. Told me he had cases that are more important than mine. From the day we met him he seemed to be a great guy, until he got his money. He got his money and didn’t keep his word on anything he said. Only covered up his wrongs to avoid bad reviews and the truth of this attorney.
