Carl S. Chu

We first met Mr. Chu when he represented the seller of the house we bought in 1999. A few years later he became our Attorney in a re-financing deal. But he impressed us as a very respectable professional, very knowledgeable, and a great communicator. He is very patient in answering our questions and ...certainly had his client's interests in mind when providing advice. More recently, I was in a legal debate with a healthcare provider, a potentially malpractice case. Mr. Chu is the only Attorney who came to mind when I sought legal advice. He patiently listened to my description of the case, asked a few key questions. After hearing the facts, he advised that the provider should be wise enough to reimburse the costs incurred, rather than for me to pay an Attorney to fight the lengthy battle in court. Mr. Chu provided his advice completely without charging us any consultation fee.... Following his advice, I went ahead to fix the problem caused by the provider's negligence, and then I presented to the provider the costs incurred for the fix, and ask them for reimbursement. The provider did comply although it took them 4 weeks to do so. This saves us a lot of trouble and costs to go through legal procedure while getting us completely compensated for the cost of the fix.
