Carl S. Chu

I’ve used Carl Chu as my Real-Estate attorney twice. He’s awesome. Does a great job and everything went smoothe both times. His paralegal Jeff is also great. Both made me feel like i was right at home in their office and I was extremely comfortable with their business. They advised me wel...l. ;)

Both Carl and his para Jeff made us feel like we were their only clients. Phone calls or messages were always answered immediately, and we were always aware of what was happening now and what to expect next. We were able to pre-sign closing docs and move 2500 miles away while Cartl handled all trans...actions and even deposited our check in our bank. Any time an issue was raised by the opposite side, we referred it to Carl and never heard any more about it. If you want an absolutely hassle-free, hands-off transaction (and who doesn't), and you want to sleep at night knowing that somebody who knows the score is watching your back, thus is your guy.

We first met Mr. Chu when he represented the seller of the house we bought in 1999. A few years later he became our Attorney in a re-financing deal. But he impressed us as a very respectable professional, very knowledgeable, and a great communicator. He is very patient in answering our questions and ...certainly had his client's interests in mind when providing advice. More recently, I was in a legal debate with a healthcare provider, a potentially malpractice case. Mr. Chu is the only Attorney who came to mind when I sought legal advice. He patiently listened to my description of the case, asked a few key questions. After hearing the facts, he advised that the provider should be wise enough to reimburse the costs incurred, rather than for me to pay an Attorney to fight the lengthy battle in court. Mr. Chu provided his advice completely without charging us any consultation fee.... Following his advice, I went ahead to fix the problem caused by the provider's negligence, and then I presented to the provider the costs incurred for the fix, and ask them for reimbursement. The provider did comply although it took them 4 weeks to do so. This saves us a lot of trouble and costs to go through legal procedure while getting us completely compensated for the cost of the fix. My wife and I were first time home-buyers and we could not have asked for a better attorney to guide us through what can be a very stressful time. Carl explained everything that we could expect from Point A-Z the first time we met him to review contracts, which helped us really understand the process.... Carl also went above and beyond to resolve issues that arose with our difficult lender. We also had problems with poor water and radon tests and Carl addressed those issues promptly with the seller's attorney, and saved us money in turn. I'm so thankful to my realtor for recommending Carl, and I have recommended him to my friends and colleagues as well.
