My practice includes representing clients in the areas of speeding/traffic tickets, real estate transactions, motorcycle and personal injuries and criminal defense.
As a former public defender with extensive trial experience I am comfortable in the court room and in front of a jury. I only accept a limited amount of criminal defense work.
I represent either buyers or sellers in real estate transactions. My real estate experience has covered everything from ordinary residential closings and title insurance work to representing a landowner having a hydro power station constructed on his land and also arranging for and closing "short sales" at less than the mortgage amount due on distressed properties to avoid foreclosure.
In addition to being an attorney I am also a nationally certified ski instructor with nearly 15 years teaching experience. I am a motorcycle rider and have been one for over 40 years providing me with the unique perspective of understanding motorcycle riders and how other drivers react to motorcyclists. Motorcycle riders who have been injured deserve an attorney who knows what they know about riding and can teach others about that as part of representing their client.

Superb Attorney
Mr. Nicotera represented me after I got a ticket for not stopping at a stop sign. He was able to reduce it to a small fee and zero points on my license. Really nice guy who gets great results. I highly recommend him.

Excellent representation
Mr. Nicotera represented me in regards to a traffic ticket I received for not stopping at a stop sign. Rather than getting 3 points on my license, he was able to reduce it to zero with a small fine. I would recommend him to anyone requiring representation.

“Please read my client rating comments. As the result of the 1997 suicide of my young son I was devastated and became clinically depressed, unable to perform even the most basic tasks. Client complaints followed resulting in me resigning my license while discipline action was pending. No program was available to assist me through this horrific time. Today one does exist. After recovery from my clinical depression i applied for reinstatement of my license and it was granted. Thank you.”
