Peter J. Hickey

Peter Hickey was born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. He received his Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, in 1987 from the University of Maryland, where he was also elected a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He is a 1990 cum laude graduate of Albany Law School.

Peter was admitted to the New York State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York in 1991. He was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont in 2005.

Prior to joining the team at Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, LLP, Peter was the civil litigation partner at a local firm where he concentrated his practice in personal injury litigation, matrimonial and family law. Over the past 23 years, he has litigated hundreds of cases involving diverse areas of New York State law, including, Labor Law, automobile, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Peter has extensive trial experience in both State and Federal Courts.

When offered the opportunity to join the litigation department at Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, LLP, Peter was eager to join such a reputable team.

Mr. Hickey resides in southern Saratoga County with his wife and three sons. He is active in Halfmoon Youth Baseball where he volunteers as a coach and also sits on its Board of Directors.
