Simply the best: Matthew Ricci of Tully Rinckey

Matt Ricci is just the best! He was knowledgable, diligent, and easy to work with while handling my EEO case with the federal government. Through his work, I was able to stay employed long enough to change agencies and locations in order to work another five years through to my retirement. He was... also there to help me with the recent trump admin BS regarding probationary employees & the whole DRP thing. Hiring a lawyer was a daunting task, but so was the prospect of losing my career. If you think you can't afford a lawyer, you can! Because you cannot go up against the federal government on your own. It will be money well spent.

Legal Help for Federal Employment Problems

I am very pleased with Mr. Ricci's professionalism in handling my case. He was always available to answer my questions and provided clear guidance in a timely manner as we processed through the case.

Terrible experience!!

I am a cancer patient and I was referred to this firm. Mr. Ricci did not clearly explain my settlement agreement. My job paid my attorney fees and Mr. Ricci kept all of my retainer which was in excess of the total amount of legal fees that he stated to me AND he billed me and additional 1,700 in addi...tional fees which made me take a loss of my legal fee reimbursement from my job! I am very disappointed in this firm! I would never do business with Mr. Ricci or this firm ever again!

Unprepared, Dismissive, and Lacking Professionalism

My experience with Matthew Ricci at Tully Rinckey PLLC was frustrating and disappointing. From the start, he was unprepared, dismissive, and lacked the diligence necessary for effective legal representation. Despite having extensive documentation and evidence to support my case, Matthew failed to ...review key materials in a timely manner, disregarded important legal strategies I requested, and downplayed critical aspects of my claims. Communication was inconsistent, and I frequently had to follow up multiple times just to get basic updates. The legal documents he prepared contained errors, omissions, and lacked key details, which I had to correct myself. When I raised concerns about his handling of my case, I was met with excuses and passive aggressive responses instead of accountability. Even after escalating the issue to senior attorneys, the situation did not improve. If you’re looking for an attorney who is proactive, communicative, and truly invested in your case, I would strongly advise against working with Matthew Ricci.

Amazing

He took the time to answer all of my questions (even when my mind went into overdrive and I was overthinking everything). He was respectful to my concerns. He fought for me aggressively but kindly. Even when he was unavailable due to being in court, he still made himself available via email.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education

  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
