Excellent for Name and Gender Change Legal Representation

We were looking for a lawyer that specialized in working with LGBTQ clients and learned about Ms. Thomas on the National Center for Transgender Equality website. Ms. Thomas was the only attorney listed in Upstate NY that specialized in representing clients with the legal process for name and gender c...hange. We were fortunate that Ms. Thomas was in the Capital District. She was prompt with email and phone correspondence and the judge received the paperwork and signed the documents quickly. We would highly recommend working with Ms. Thomas for name and gender change legal representation.

Quick and reliable contract reviews for a freelance content creator

I am a freelance Medical Writer/Medical Director. In my business, I deal with complex contracts with many hidden pitfalls. I have used Beth Thomas as a contract reviewer since May 2021. Her reviews were thorough and performed with a short turnaround time. As a result, I could make quick business deci...sions, or ask for necessary contract revisions without holding up negotiations with my prospective clients. Most importantly, Beth's contract revisions flagged contract clauses that had the potential of endangering my business on several occasions. Highly recommended!

Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
