The Law Office of Beth C. Thomas, PLLC, offers personalized legal advocacy with a strong commitment to justice. As a solo practitioner in the New York Capital Region, I specialize in family law, criminal defense, business law, LGBTQ+ rights, landlord representation, and civil litigation.
I founded my practice in 2021 in Troy, NY, to provide tailored legal services that address each client’s unique needs. In 2024, I joined the Rensselaer County Conflict Defender’s Office as a family lawyer and criminal defender, ensuring strong, respectful representation for those facing legal challenges.
After qualifying as a New York attorney in 2020, I gained experience handling consumer debt cases with the New York Legal Assistance Group and the Queens Volunteer Lawyers Project. My clerkship with Judge Elgin Edwards, District Recorder of Chester, England, deepened my respect for the judicial process and the need for fair advocacy.
I hold a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Chester, England, which gives me an international perspective on legal matters. Whether dealing with family disputes, criminal charges, business law, or civil litigation, I am committed to providing expert legal counsel with a personal touch. I look forward to assisting you in achieving the best possible outcome
