I found Lance searching for a new attorney online and there was something about him that simply stood out. I have had previous attorneys however, I always felt I was just another case and when I needed advice they were never reachable. I had contact with them at the consult and at court. So Very diff...erent with Lance. From initially speaking with him I knew this was more than just "a job" to him and I was more than just "a client." He was compassionate, experienced, knowledgeable, and confident. Due to the necessity of entering a petition quickly, he met me on a weekend to get additional information about my case. Due to the nature of my case, I was always nervous about going to court and even felt a little unsafe in the beginning. Lance would always text me the evening before court and make sure I was doing okay and offered words of encouragement and reassurance that he would walk in with me and it would be fine. I have never had an attorney text me in the evening to offer support and it was such a relief knowing he cared so much. As per my case itself, everything that was discussed during our initial consultation happened as such every step of the way. I felt there were no surprises because Lance was always well prepared and extremely reliable. He always discussed and explained everything to me and always asked how my son was doing because he truly cared about his well being through this process. At the completion of my case, I was speechless when Lance texted me that same evening to ensure my son and I were feeling good because it just confirmed my feelings all along that he truly cares about the safety and well being of us both. Honestly, there is not enough I can say or words to describe what an amazing and compassionate attorney Lance is and how thankful I am to have found him!

I was very hesitant on how to hire a lawyer to represent me during this ugly episode of my life. I am a Virginia resident and my case was in NY. I asked my sister who worked as a paralegal in Virginia to help me with this hard and confusing decision and she immediately found few names who were list...ed here at avvo. The mother of my kids filed a summons for child support and was looking to get more money trying to impute me for temporary increased income 2 years ago and she wanted full physical and legal custody of my kids. I was some how concerned about driving 7 hours each way from where I live to Suffolk County; instead Lance and Angel who were very helpful requested to the court my appearance by phone, that not only saved me hours of driving and being exposed to accidents on the commute to NY with out mentioning the ammount of money on each trip but it also helped me to keep focused on my job and my teenager son who resides with me ( I am a single parent). He kept me informed about every stage of my case. Lance is not invasive, he does his job professionally with out being noticed. He works after hours if needed, he will find the way to make it happen, he is not only professional but a great human being. The outcome was successful for our side, the court didn't increase the amount of money based on two years ago but I also have the right to have shared legal custody of my kids.
