I didn’t want to have to do this nor, do I ever write reviews but…I felt it was truly necessary to do so, for others to not go through the experience I had but, this is my genuine, honest review. At first, Austin was very attentive. He made me feel comfortable and confident in his work ethic/“prof...essionalism.”He was very responsive and assured me he was going to work very hard on my case. But after the retainer was paid…his actions showed otherwise. Although I understand that a lawyer can’t make any promises, and is occupied with other clients/personal life, I truly believe I was very reasonable with the space I gave him to work, and questions I asked.As a client, I should feel confident that my lawyer is working on my case without having to bother them 24/7. But truly, I felt that nothing was being done or handled correctly. My responses from him were very minimum to eventually no longer responsive at all. It reached a point where I had no choice but to change to a different lawyer, who showed me that my needs (that was truly not asking for a lot )were possible! I felt as if it was only fair that he calculates at least the retainer amount that had not been used, and for me to get that back! It’s been months of trying to work with him and now 2 months of trying to get at least some partial amount of my retainer back but…nothing!
