Biography
I currently practice in the defense of design professionals and attorneys in professional liability suits, and I defend property owners, construction managers, contractors, developers and design professionals in all other aspects of litigation, including labor law, premises liability and mechanic’s lien foreclosure. In addition, I am the head of my office's D&O Defense Department, defending directors, officers, boards, board members and managing agents in breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, negligence and housing discrimination matters, and, I am a member of the firm's real estate litigation team, litigating various issues including, among other things, appraiser/broker/agent malpractice. I am a member of the firm's complex litigation team, handling such matters as the rule against perpetuities, product liability, loss of sepulcher, commercial disputes and toxic torts. I handle federal, state and local discrimination matters, and, although this firm has a separate appeals department, I handle my own appeals, federal and state agency hearings, arbitrations and mediations.
