We partner and I own a small business and purchased vehicles from a dealer and financed through the dealers bank. After months of excuses two vehicles when have been paying monthy payments on could not be delivered because they had no titles, the vehicles never left the dealers lot and we never took ...physical possession. So we went to the dealership to cancel the sale, seems easy enough. Well we learned that the dealership wouldn't refund any down payments given to them and the bank wouldn't refund any payments made to them to date (approx.$15000). How could you write loans on vehicles never inspected? How can you refuse to refund a customer who never received good or services contractually agreed upon? Upon recommendation from family we had a sit-down with Christine and from the first meeting we knew we were in the right hands. Although the process was lengthy (big bank delays not Christine) we were able to recover all that was lost and was able to do it at minimal cost and hardship. Christine was very well versed in contract law and was also able to show the bank how further examination of the contract wouldn't not bode well for them in court. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and now Instead of taking a hit, our small business is able to go to the next step and reinvest what was rightfully returned. In the beginning it seemed like a no win David and Goliath situation, a big bank colluding with a shady dealer. However our small business was basically saved and kept above water by a knowledgeable, persistent and honest attorney. Can't recommend her enough!
