John Patrick Whiteman III

John was my review attorney while I was trying to get divorce via mediation. He did such a great job since the beginning and expedite the process which we were stuck that I hired him as my only attorney. Mediation wasn’t working for me but when I hired John he listened, answered all my questions (and... I had many), always called me back quickly, guided me, saw me crying and made me feel comfortable and safe. He made an unpleasant process an easier one.

After my divorce was over I met John Whiteman III through a mutual friend. How I wish I met him before my divorce was final! My case was a long, arduous and an ineffective process leaving me with a document with multiple flaws. My consultations with John were invaluable. He is professional, skilled, ...compassionate and dedicated to getting results. John tells you as it is not just what you want to hear to facilitate a process and avoid undue aggravation. His honesty, candid approach and professionalism are priceless. I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without John and the Joseph Law Group.

John worked with me after I had a terrible experience with a different attorney that cost me thousands of dollars and got me no where. John set realistic expectations and gave me honest feedback on what he could and couldn't do to help me. He guided me through the process of modifying my old agreeme...nt to clarify my parental rights. He also worked efficiently to stay within my budget. He was friendly, thorough and responsive. The only feedback I have (which wasn't completely in John's control) is that I would have preferred less email communication with opposing counsel. I think emails can omit the social cues that can be helpful in these types of legal matters. Would I hire John again...YES.

This was no easy task due to the pandemic, which happened smack in the middle of the divorce. The courts closed, people went into lockdown, but John... never missed a step. John and his staff are very professional and welcoming. They made the divorce process as easy as possible, given the situation. I defiantly recommend using him and the firm for any type of legal matter. In hindsight, I wouldn't have done anything differently, Including hiring a different attorney! When you hire John, you can be sure your welfare will be his top priority, even though a pandemic!

I’d like to start by saying John is a very professional and down to earth attorney. He has help me out during a tough time in life. Let’s face it you don’t get married expecting to get divorced. He is very thorough and well versed. Always will to take time for me. Answer my questions. And he... has fought for me and my interests the entire time.
