Excellent Service

John was my review attorney while I was trying to get divorce via mediation. He did such a great job since the beginning and expedite the process which we were stuck that I hired him as my only attorney. Mediation wasn’t working for me but when I hired John he listened, answered all my questions (and... I had many), always called me back quickly, guided me, saw me crying and made me feel comfortable and safe. He made an unpleasant process an easier one.

With Gratitude

After my divorce was over I met John Whiteman III through a mutual friend. How I wish I met him before my divorce was final! My case was a long, arduous and an ineffective process leaving me with a document with multiple flaws. My consultations with John were invaluable. He is professional, skilled, ...compassionate and dedicated to getting results. John tells you as it is not just what you want to hear to facilitate a process and avoid undue aggravation. His honesty, candid approach and professionalism are priceless. I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without John and the Joseph Law Group.

Ms.

A divorce is not something one ever thinks they will go through. I had never, in my life, thought I would have to deal with something of this magnitude, anything involving an attorney and my future - all by myself. And there I was, having to do just that. I was nervous, anxious and very emotional. Th...e Joseph Law Group came highly recommended by a friend and I went for a consultation. I was introduced to John Whiteman the day I signed my retainer and I can honestly say I am so thankful that he was the attorney assigned to my divorce case. At our first meeting (I was a crying mess) he gave me a box of tissues and listened to me attentively and patiently, asked questions and explained the beginning process of the divorce. He calmed my anxieties and fears and assured me we would get through this together. There was an ease about him from the moment we met. My divorce was a 15 month process - with many ups and downs-and he remained the exact same person throughout those months as he was when we first met. I can honestly say that I am beyond thankful that John was by my side. He was ALWAYS respectful, honest, forthcoming and attentive to me and my feelings, and any questions or concerns I may have had about my case. Even questions that I thought might seem silly never were to him...all of my concerns were important, every one of them. He was always thorough in his explanations and as we moved forward, continued to be. He was always available and responded to me in a very timely manner...even through Covid and the delays that it caused. A divorce is not an easy process for most, at least it was not for me. John always calmed me down when I felt I was on the edge - just a genuine and compassionate human being. His knowledge of divorce and the laws that come with it is impeccable. He was honest from the beginning to the very end. He went over every aspect, each step, as we went through them together - all in terms I could understand. He always kept me up to date with any and all correspondence and any changes that were possibly happening from my ex husband and his attorney. In closing I want to say that John is an amazing lawyer who was very loyal to my case, to me, and to all of my concerns. He did everything he possibly could and then some to help me reach the best possible outcome and he succeeded. I do not want to forget to mention the wonderful office staff as well. Everyone in the office was helpful and kind to me - whether it was a phone call, an email, or a meeting at the office. I would HIGHLY recommend John Whiteman III should you ever need a divorce attorney. He is in my opinion the best attorney you could ask for, by far.

Intelligent and Fair

I wish I found Mr. Whiteman years ago. I was taken back to court by my ex-wife for an upward modification. Mr. Whiteman pointed out inequities in my original divorce agreement. He did not represent me during my divorce. When you are going through a divorce you trust your attorney to represent you we...ll as they are professionals in their field. I was not represented well by my first attorney. When I contacted Mr. Whiteman he was nothing but professional from day one. He was sensitive to my situation and looked for ways to decrease the cost of his services by being extremely efficient. The outcome was favorable to me and I finally felt represented well. Going to court can be nerve racking and every time I saw Mr. Whiteman walking into court, I felt a sense of relief knowing he was on my side. He is a good man and an outstanding attorney.

Lawyer

Divorce/Separation is an extremely difficult matter for any family, however throughout the whole process, John was very understanding, compassionate, and efficient in looking out for my best financial interest using the best cost-effective approach in my case. He always conducts himself in a very pro...fessional manner, focusing on the desired outcome. He communicates schedule change, updates and concerns in the most effective way, and I like that. Thank you John, for an excellent job wishing you and the firm much success in future cases.
