Before joining Fratello Law, P.C. in 2016, Rachel Katz spent most of her career as a corporate finance attorney, specializing in bank lending and corporate financing transactions. Rachel practiced law at several major law firms, including, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP. Rachel has now refocused her law career and talents to the areas of trusts & estates and elder law.
Rachel received her Juris Doctor degree from American University, Washington College of Law in 1999 and earned her Bachelors of Art degree in Political Science from Union College in Schenectady, New York in 1996. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the District of Columbia. Rachel is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Women's Bar Association.
