Alida Demarco

Alida DeMarco is a compassionate advocate for the most vulnearble among us, focusing her practice in the areas of Elder Law and Guardianships. Her fluency in Spanish has allowed her to expand the reach of her legal services to a broad spectrum of our community.

Alida, born in Panama City, Panama, has taken an unconventional path to Smithtown, giving her a diverse backgroung of experience and education. After obtaining her law degree and license to practice in Panama, Alida earned an LLM from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Alida was admitted to the New York Bar in 2002, and after falling in love with Long Island, she soon found her home in Smithtown, where shehas resided for over fifteen years.

Before joining Fratello Law, Alida enjoyed a career in litigation and in her own guardianship practice. Alida is a member of the Suffolk Bar Association, Senior Umbrella Network (SUN) and the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association.

Alida resides in Smithtown with her husband and two children. She enjoys hiking, cooking and taking advantage of Long Island's natural beauty.
