Tara Anne Scully

Tara A. Scully, Esq. is an associate at Nancy Burner & Associates, P.C. She joined the firm in April 2008. Ms. Scully earned her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany , where she was President of the Psi Gamma Sorority, and Editor of the Albany Student Press. She received her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School. Ms. Scully’s professional experience includes service as a Confidential Assistant to the Secretary to the Governor, and a Legal Assistant to the Counsel to the Governor in New York State’s Executive Chamber. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Scully gained valuable experience representing the indigent as an attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County.  She is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association (Elder Law Committee), the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association where she currently serves as a Director, the New York City Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association (Elder Law and Trust and Estates Committees). She admitted to practice law in New York State and Washington, D.C. Tara brings a wealth of governmental and legal experience to the firm.  She lives in Stony Brook with her family.
