I sought out Matthew's legal services after a car accident. I wasn't expecting anything to come of it - I mostly just hoped that I could recoup SOMETHING from the physical pain and financial burden I suffered from the accident. It took a couple of years, but ultimately Matthew was able to secure a s...ettlement. He kept me informed about my options throughout the process of reaching a settlement. He informed me when a settlement offer was made. He told me that I could accept it, or he could push for more, and he told me what he thought the chances were and how it might play out. For someone entirely new to the legal system, it was very comforting. The only issue I experienced over the course of my case was that his staff was often unresponsive and sometimes rude. Often times, I would send an email asking the paralegal for an update on their end or asking about what I should do regarding my treatments and how to have it billed and wouldn't get a response. Ultimately, I would end up contacting Matthew directly -- he was always very responsive to my questions. His paralegal, however, was very rude about my having contacted Matthew directly, despite the long chain of unanswered emails I had sent to her. My communications with his paralegal were unpleasant, but I ultimately ended up communicating with Matthew directly after that point. Overall, I would definitely recommend Matthew's legal services. He was very kind and was able to obtain a settlement on my behalf when I really had very little hope for justice.
