Gerard E. Hanshe

I was born and raised on Long Island, in Levittown, NY, a 10th-plus generation New Yorker - with roots tracing back to Dutch butchers in NY's meat-packing district in the late 1700s. I attended Levittown Public Schools through middle school, Chaminade High School and Hofstra University, where I studied Banking and Finance. After my undergrad education, I worked in NYC for E*Trade in their professional trader division, where I got my start in business.

After a few years in the corporate world, I attended St. John's Law School, and went into practice with my father, Joseph A. Hanshe, Esq.. We had a small yet diverse family practice, and I was exposed to civil, criminal, family, real estate and business law. Trying to start a new family, however, after a few years I decided to return to the more stable route of corporate life over our small family practice.

In 2008, I began working for Garden City Group, a class action and bankruptcy administration firm. There, I honed my skills in data analysis as they pertained to legal data, and learned a true customer-first approach. I also developed at GCG the work ethic it takes to succeed, and the importance of team building.

Now my mission is to apply the skills and education I have developed over my career to making people's lives better through affordable and dedicated legal respresentation, legal consulting and small business services.
