I worked for an agency for many years. During the last year, I worked with an individual who was sexist. I requested a transfer verbally on numerous occasions but this fell on deaf ears. Just a quick background story. I, as a professional employee of a very large company that i had been working for approximately five years, I was being bullied, discriminated against, retaliated against, was constantly being threatened to be fired, for nothing legitimate. This went on for the last ye...ar of my employment there. I had been brought down to the HR director and accused of ridiculous things from doing drugs at work to coming to work impaired. I was interrogated for hours as i was sobbing explaining that i am the major income of the household and if she makes false accusations like this, I would not be able to take care of my family. I was told that was not her business by this woman twice, and twice put out on administrative leave. I was so scared and confused about what was going on since all my testing was negative. This woman chose to continue to badger me and make my life a living hell.I decided to look up employment lawyer and GOD led me to Scott. I made an appointment with him, from the moment I walked into the office, i was greeted by a wonderful receptionist named Mary, she brought me back to Scott, we sat and i told him the entire painful story. He immediately made me feel calm, and a felling of hope came over my body. He treated me with the utmost respect, he never once made me feel stupid, even when i asked silly questions. He and colleague Kyle got right to work, fiilng EEOC charges and just basically took the reigns and told me to let them drive and they WILL stop this "freight train" Not only did he have the woman fired, but he was able to get a nice settlement for my mental anguish and other nonsense things they made me do. Scott and colleagues are Kind, Knowledgeable and they absolutely 100% care about their clients!! It is not very often you find genuine people, but he is certainly one them. I could never have been so brave to go up against a large company like this if it hadn't been for Scott and his wonderful staff. Trust me when i say if you looking for an employment lawyer, consider at least meeting him

My initial consultation with Mr. Mishkin was clearly looking out for my best interest even if it meant making a difficult choice of not moving forward with the discrimination case. I have only respect for such a professional who puts himself out for his clients and CARES about what is just even if i...t means a struggle without a payoff for him and his team. Mr Mishkin always communicated and actually listened and genuinely felt he was fighting against discrimination itself. I will recommend Mr Mishkin to anyone who needs direction from a lawyer who knows what direction to go and explain all the way. I truly felt Mr Mishkin had my best interest in mind the entire time.
