Peter L. Rand

Back in 2016, I hired Peter Rand to represent me for my divorce. I had gotten his information online, went for a consult, he was very professional courteous. I did not know that it would end there. After my retainer was paid, I never got any updates about my divorce proceedings. There was also a cour...t date that was missed. I emailed and called the office several times to get an update on what to do next. I also asked for an itemized bill to understand how my retainer was being used. Every time I called, the front desk would make an excuse and say he was not there and would call me back. This went on for months and he never called me back. I then had to hire another lawyer and pay another retainer fee. I never got my money back from Peter Rand nor did he ever respond to any of my inquiries. He ran away with my money.

After hiring Mr. Rand to facilitate our commercial property closing for which his was paid, he has yet to give us our closing statement detailing where the proceeds of the money went, including funds from the escrow account. We called, emailed and texted and received nothing but excuse after excuse a...nd promises the closing statement would be forthcoming. We are now going on 8 months and no resolution of where and to who our funds were disbursed to. Highly unethical to hold back such an important document that legally belongs to us. We have bought & sold several properties in the past and every attorney was prompt with our paperwork, until we hired Peter Rand. We do not recommend this law firm.

Do not use this man at all ever!!!! Do your research! He's got MANY complaints flied against him!!!! He has my divorce papers since May 28,2019 and for 4 months all I do Is text, call and leave messages BEGGING him for MY papers back so I can go elsewhere, he REFUSES to answer me and give me my paper...s back!!!! Absolute worst attorney out there!!!! Save yourself the heartache, stress and money and find another attorney!!! Look him up on find law...you'll be in shock what you see!

My divorce case has been in litigation for one year and I have not seen one email ever sent to my ex to be attorney concerning my case and any sort of settlement . Has told me numerous lies and when asked to do something he will tell you you will do it and then blow you off and you will have to cal...l him 10 times before he finally called you back . Typical lawyer .If you are hiring him for a divorce do not do it you’ll fight with him more than you are ask if you are hiring him for a divorce do not do it you’ll fight with him more than your spouse.

I hired Attorney Peter Rand in November, 2018 to evict tenants from my rental property. He was very late in filing court papers. He is very difficult to get a hold of and he didn’t notify me of date, time and address of court appearance. On court day he was over an hour late. Judge sided favorably fo...r defendants as a result. He promised to file eviction paperwork with sheriff but didn’t follow through. Do not hire this attorney. He’s not reliable and you will be dissatisfied with results.
