Nicholas Elias Arazoza

Mr. Arazoza has been handling matrimonial and family law matters for over nine (9) years, from the simple to the complex, including the valuation and distribution of businesses, and professional practices, contentious custody matters, and the collection and enforcement of spousal and child support. Prior to his current employment, he worked as an associate in a prominent Long Island matrimonial and family law firm. 

Mr. Arazoza has experience litigating cases at the trial level and has been lead counsel on several highly successful appeals, achieving favorable results for his clients. Notably, arguing before the Appellate Division, Second Department, on the matter of Cook v. Cook, 162 A.D.3d 674 (2d Dept. 2016), Mr. Arazoza convinced the Appellate Division to modify the decision of the Suffolk County Supreme Court by shifting custody of both children to his client. In 2019, arguing before the Appellate Division, Second Department, (175 A.D.3d 1540 (2d Dept. 2019)) Mr. Arazoza, was able to secure spousal maintenance for his client, a forty-two-year-old woman, until her sixty-seventh birthday in the amount of $10,h.

Mr. Arazoza has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in the practice of matrimonial law. He is a graduate of Albany Law School and earned a BA from Boston College. He is licensed to practice law before the Courts of the State of New York, as well as the United States Supreme Court. 

Mr. Arazoza is a member of the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association, and a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, where he regularly lectures on issues related to matrimonial litigation.
