About me

Eve-Lynn has spent her legal career championing the rights of individuals under their insurance contracts.  She has made inroads in the field of disability and life insurance through her characteristic application of cutting-edge arguments to novel issues of insurance contract interpretation.

Practicing under her time-tested philosophy that small firms can do great things, Eve-Lynn's tenacious spirit is epitomized by her successful bid before the New York Court of Appeals in Benesowitz v. MetLife.  As a result of her efforts, not only was MetLife prevented from refusing to pay pre-existing condition claims, but insurance regulators ordered all New York group disability insruers to change the way they were doing business.

Eve-Lynn has been consistently identified as one of New York's Women Leaders in the Law by New York Magazine as recently as 2013.

Eve-Lynn has law offices in Manhattan, Syosset and Huntington, NY.
