I'm a first time home buyer and Michelle Messina's office was recommended by my Real estate agent. And thank God she helped us with this as I had no idea how much work goes into a closing for a home. Michelle and her team helped us step by step and was very informative and patient with us. They expla...ined everything and was on our side the whole time. They set up our contracts and had everything we needed to be done in a timely manner. They also were in contact with us as soon as an issue arises or saw an issue that would potentially arise. I highly recommend Michelle Messina for all your home contract needs.

So how did I find this awesome lady? At a homebuyer's education workshop held by CDCLI. She presented and I told my boyfriend right then and there, oh she's ours! We're definitely choosing her to be our attorney. BEST DECISION made! She's so witty and on her game! She helped me throughout my whole pr...ocess. She gave me advice on what to do what not to do, what to ask what not to ask during my home search. She offered kind words of encouragement when I lost accepted offers to cash buyers and higher offers. She never once made me feel like the only time I could speak to her was once I was ready to sign a contract. She always let me know "any time." She answered all my questions and promptly. Then when I finally got an accepted offer that stood, and came in to sign my contract, I met her amazing staff! They are just as awesome, especially that ANNIE!! The closing table, WHOA! what an overwhelming experience! But Michele explained everything to us in layman's terms and eased our stresses. Even my father-in-law (total hard ass) was impressed with the way she explained ALL those documents. I would recommend her to any and everyone who needs a real estate attorney.

Michele Messina and her staff handled a difficult real estate deal in the most efficient and professional manner. NY banks are taking so long to give a mortgage, that it is easy for deals in other states to fall through when moving out of NY. Her recommendations as a consult were exact. Her staff was... extremely courteous and knowledgeable, which is a reflection on her. The other lawyer in my real estate deal did not specialize in real estate and much could have gone wrong and fell through the cracks, if not for Ms. Messina going above and beyond what needed to be done on both ends. She will insure that her client is satisfied in their real estate deal. She is the best lawyer I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I highly recommend her as a lawyer.

In my opinion, Michele Messina is tenacious, incredibly intelligent, and professional. However, I personally can't recommend her services based on my personal experience nor have her represent me in the future. Ms. Messina gave a presentation at my first-time home buyers class and was very impres...sive. I hired her and it seems to me that she gets a lot of first-time home buyers this way. I imagine that most of those deals are pretty easy, but it seems to me that she has too many clients to devote a lot of time to some of the more difficult cases, which was mine. I rarely felt like my case was a priority. I felt like I needed to call them every day to get some movement and/or information about my case, especially when we were getting into contract and then trying to get my deposit back, which was a total nightmare for me. The deal fell through and I didn't get my money back for over a year. As this was a large sum of money for me, it was disappointing and often frustrating. However, I also recognize that she knows her stuff and works hard to protect her clients, despite any difficulties.

We used Michele Messina in 2008 for our sale and purchase. She did an outstanding job. We just used her again for a sale and purchase and we cannot say enough about her. She is the most educated and knowledgeable Real Estate Attorney out there. She is extremely thorough and makes her clients best int...erests her priority. She is the attorney you want on your side of the table, hands down!
