About Shari
Biography
Shari Lee Sugarman graduated from Touro Law School, cum laude, in 1997. Having worked for several larger firms on Long Island after graduation, Ms. Sugarman choose to open her own firm in 2005 so she could be with her young son. Sugarman Law PC now has several employees and focuses on real estate matters (including sales, purchases, lenders, landlord/tenant, twon violations, etc.), business law, estate planning and probate/estate administration. We also have a foreclosure defense/mortgage modification department to assist homeowners facing difficult choices concerning their homes.
Ms. Sugarman is very active with the Suffolk County Women's Bar Association, having been the President of the organization on two separate occasions (2011/12 & 2019/20). Recognizing the need to give back to the community, she served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk for eight years, and actively participates with the Suffolk County Bar Association's High School Mock Trial Competitions. She is also an active member of the Deer Park Chamber and the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce, often speaking at their events on various topics important to their members.

Smart and actually cares
Done a few real estate transactions with Shari. So far it’s been great. She’s both fast and protective of my interests. Performs well under pressure and isn’t afraid to fight for me. Definitely way better than some of the other lawyers I’ve used in the past

Shari is the best!!
Shari is excellent at what she does. She was my real estate attorney and made the whole home buying process so much less stressful. In addition to that, she is always there if I have a question or need advice. I would highly recommend her!!

Missed Key Point & Cost Me More
I utilized Ms. Sugarman in the purchase of a condo and the selling of another condo. The key thing I will say is because of the difficulties of working with this client, I eventually resorted to responding to her questions in writing so that there was no miscommunications.
