Joseph Charles Andruzzi

After graduating Hofstra Law in 1993, Mr. Andruzzi was Admitted to the Practice in 1/94 and employed by the Nassau County Attorney’s Office from 3/95 through 4/02 in medical malpractice and Public Works engineering E&O claim defense.

    He remains in private practice to date, admitted in New York State Courts and as well the U.S. District Courts (EDNY and SDNY). Andruzzi has be admitted pro hac vice in several scientific evidence cases in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and as well in Connecticut. 

    With a B.S. in Biology from SUNY Stony Brook (1990, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with Departmental Honors in Biology; Departmental Honors in American History) he remains Patent Bar eligible.

    Joe Andruzzi has extensive experience in technical and scientific evidence presentation including: traffic engineering and road design; steel sampling, metallurgical, batch and manufacture identification; hydrodynamics and fluid delivery systems; potable water systems; soils and substrate coring, weight bearing capacity models and testing methodology; Long Island aquifer characteristics and dynamics; civil, mechanical and electrical engineering design safety; topographical and municipal subdivision mapping, surveying errors and omissions; municipal and private storm water management; shoreline, marine construction and erosion control, all areas relevant to your needs.

    In the past, he served as Counsel to the Town of Oyster Bay Landmarks Preservation Commission and Counsel to the Board of Directors of the Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons (1994 to 2016). Currently a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and served as the Congregation President for St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethpage, New York for 7 years.

    Joe is a dedicated husband and father of three children ages 13, 15 and 22 years old.
