There needs to be an option for negative 5 stars. I was a first time home buyer and Mr. Wagner came recommended by my realtor. He was informative initially but became very sloppy over time. I had a July 1 closing date but that date came and went with no explanation. I tried to contact Mr. Wagner afte...r July 1 but he ignored my emails and phone calls. It was not until the middle of July that I figured out what the delay was. The bank where I applied for a loan contacted the coop board and found out I never received the application. Without the bank I would never have known the reason for the delay. Mr. Wagner continued to ignore phone calls, texts, and emails. His office phone as well as personal phone always had full mailboxes making it challenging to get in contact with him. He was more concerned about the seller than me the purchaser who he was hired to represent. In several emails he mentioned the seller was antsy to close and they were in the processs to buy another home. I was antsy to close as well but that was not important to him. He would not answer my questions about the contract and did not help in anyway cancel contract or get the deposit back. I used a relative who is an attorney to cancel the contract. Mr. Wagner was absent in the whole purchasing process and I felt as if I didn’t even have an attorney.

I was desperate after attempting for two years to complete a short sale on my own. A friend recommended Peter J. Wagner. Both Mr. Wagner and Mr. Horan, before he retired, were extremely gracious, comforting, knowledgeable and very helpful. Moreover, Mr. Wagner's diligent work paid off and we were ...successful. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Wagner to anyone who is in need of legal services.
