Christopher Thomas Bechtle

Mr. Bechtle was provided by the court system as we could not afford an attorney for our son. He did more work for us than the attorney we paid several thousand dollars to for a much lesser, far less serious charge. He was hard working, thorough and imaginative in his hadnling of the case. I am gra...teful and appreciate everything he did for us. He went out of his way to keep us informed, and keep our son informed. He asked us questions as to what we wanted to accomplish, and did what he could to follow our opinions. He worked especially hard writing extra briefs and calling for additional conferences with the District Attorney's office to make sure that the case moved along. He had an excellent court room manner, and did an excellent job of presenting the case to the judge. He fought for my son in every way possible. The case has not yet ended, but whatever the outcome, I am 100 percent sure that it would have been far worse with a different attorney. I would reccomend him to anyone in Long Island, or any geographic area. He has connections (relationships) to the legal community, and considerable expertise in what to expect given certain players and the current trends in sentnencing in Nassau County. he shared wiht us "the inside scoop" to make sure we understood his strategy and why he took certain actions. I felt really lucky (blessed) to have him and I would gladly use him again. Now that I think of it, I had attorneys for several other issues, and Mr. Bechtle was the best of the bunch. Granted, the other issues concerned a variety of other kinds of cases (deeds, wills, adoption, civil cases, DMV misdemeanor charges, etc ) for myself or other family members, but I trust Mr. B for anything that comes into a courtroom. He is simply the BEST.
