Thomas McGovern handled some issues with my home a couple of years back- in particular setting up a life estate and power of attorney. His explainations were thorough yet simple. I don't drive so he came to my home which was extremely helpful. His rates were also very reasonable. Very good lawye...r and great person!

Tom recently helped my elderly mother draw up her Will and some other documents. When I mentioned that my mom had trouble getting around, he offered to come to her house to meet with her, and then again to sign the papers. He made the whole experience very comfortable for my mom. He also took the tim...e to fully explain everything to her, and to me. He was very helpful and obliging. I would recommend him to anyone.

Tom handled our closing in April of this year, and made buying a house as smooth as it could be. It was the first house my husband and I ever purchased, and he helped to make the experience painless. He continually let us know how everything was going (survey, titles, etc.), and always got back to ei...ther me or my husband quickly - even on weekends or "after hours." His price was very reasonable, and he was a pleasure to deal with. We have already told our friends and family to contact Tom when they decide to sell or purchase a home, and we would definitely use him again.
