i been threw 3 divorce attorneys,almighty heidi was my 4th,she was a recommend by a friend of mine from the nass county courts...dont hire for a divorce people,15months and 7000..later and still thinks im giving her 10,400 more....for doing nothing for me....not even my clothing back.....from 2022.........just think for 2hrs people...its impossible for her to focus and help you with divorce...if she is doing criminal,dwi,jaywlking,and little misdemeanor cases out of her aptartment in long beach....there is no time to battle for you....find a good divorce attorney....i put in for my divorce in 2022..and next month i am rufusing to get a divorce...so i dont have to pay that 10grand..ty heidi my ex is my hero and idle.....together soon

I hired Heidi in 2020 based off of a recommendation and referral from a good friend. As a woman I feel comfortable with Heidi from the start because it's always easier to discuss domestic problems with someone you can relate to. My ex was working cash jobs so consistently thought it was hard to prove... income yet Heidi was able to impute income at a higher degree than what I figure any other attorney would have been able to obtain. Every step of the way was explained, and she also lets you make choices of your choosing which makes you feel like you have a say in a legal battle. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a strong, knowledable attorney with a Compassionate Heart.

Heidi Bernstein, a seasoned attorney, is one who plays games. I was sent a subpoena for my employee’s (and boyfriend’s) divorce requesting every single financial document for both my business and personal finances for years including and prior to his employment. The list was very detailed and serv...ed on Rosh Hashana which was disruptive to my peace and caused unnecessary stress. She requested all my invoices, purchase orders, taxes and more. None of my personal or business finances has anything to do with my employee’s divorce. I was fully cooperative in sending his payroll records. I contacted an attorney who said the subpoena for all my personal and business finances was too broad, irrelevant and overly burdensome. When my attorney called Heidi, she said the subpoena was sent in error. I find that hard to believe that a seasoned attorney would send a detailed subpoena in error. After Heidi’s error she sent another subpoena requesting for me to be a witness at the divorce trial. That subpoena was sent without the required 20 day notice so I was not required to testify and notified Heidi. Heidi stated she was going to reschedule the trial. The divorce was settled days before the trial. I do not appreciate attorneys like Heidi who play games and who think they are above the law by filing irrelevant subpoenas and not sending subpoenas within the required 20 day notice. A lawyer should be held to the highest degree and know and abide by the law.

I was represented by Heidi during my divorce and through the hardest and most painful time in my life. Heidi and her assistants always helped me to feel strong and safe in their hands. I do not think I could’ve done it without their help. Heidi listened to all my concerns and understood exactly what... I wanted for myself, my son and coparenting. She informed me of all my rights and all my entitlements. My divorce was fast and seamless, exactly how I wanted it. My ex husband and I now have peace between us and are doing really well at co-parenting together. She was always there to listen and I never had to wait long for a phone call back or email back even on days when she was very busy. If she couldn’t get to me I’d always receive an email by the end of the day. She helped me through so many emotions and fears that divorce brings and is truly a professional but also cares about her clients. I would definitely trust Heidi with any future legal needs I may need.
