A Rare Lawyer Who Truly Cares

Title: Best Decision I Made for My Amazon Business - Covers Everything from IP to Taxes I've been working with CJ Rosenbaum for a few years now on various aspects of my Amazon business, and honestly, I don't know what I would have done without him. Finding a lawyer who actually understands the Ama...zon world is hard enough, but finding one who can also handle trademark issues, business strategy, and even point you toward better solutions? That's rare. I discovered CJ when he was quoted in either Forbes or the Wall Street Journal about Amazon seller issues. AmazonSellersLawyer.com. Then I heard him speak at the ASD trade show in Las Vegas about selling products successfully & protecting your brand on Amazon. His presentations were incredibly practical with real strategies you could actually use. CJ helps with BOTH legal issues and non-legal issues like Amazon sellers' account suspensions and Amazon sellers' listing or ASIN deactivations. After ASD, I read his book "The Amazon Sellers' Guide to Suspensions and Reactivations" when researching account issues. That book was incredibly helpful and laid everything out clearly. It convinced me to reach out directly. I was right. The first time I worked with CJ was on a trademark matter. By then, I'd also read his other books - "The Amazon Sellers' Guide to Trademark Law" and "The Amazon Sellers' Guide to Copyright Law" - which gave me enough foundation to understand what I was dealing with. They helped me understand the difference between trademark and copyright protection, what to register, and how to protect my listings from copycats which Amazon sellers often refer to as "hijackers." When I sat down with CJ at CosmoProf in Las Vegas. He walked me through the specific strategy, explained my options in plain English, and we developed an approach that protected my intellectual property without breaking the bank. He clearly devotes most of his practice to Amazon sellers and also brand protection on Amazon. Then I ran into trouble with Amazon - account suspension, the whole nightmare. If you sell on Amazon, you know how terrifying that is. CJ understood the urgency and knew exactly how to handle Amazon's appeal process. CJ and his team anticipated what Amazon would ask for and what to present to Amazon in my Plan of Action. We resolved it, but more importantly, he helped me understand how to avoid similar issues going forward. What surprised me is CJ's help went way beyond putting out fires. When I mentioned issues with my fulfillment center, he helped me find a better one. That's practical business advice you don't expect from a lawyer but really appreciate. He's also given me solid advice on tax strategies for structuring my business which really helped me. I also worked with him on branding decisions and contract reviews with suppliers. Every time, he's thinking bigger picture - not just "is this legal?" but "is this smart for your business?" That's the attorney you want on your side. CJ responds quickly to emails and calls, which matters with time-sensitive Amazon issues. He doesn't talk down to you or make you feel dumb for asking questions. He explains things clearly and helps you make the right call. His team is also really responsive and professional. The combination of hearing him speak at industry events, reading his books, and working with him directly has been invaluable. The books and presentations give you knowledge to understand your business, and when you need actual legal help, he's there to execute on strategy. If you're dealing with suspensions, trademark problems, copyright issues, someone copying your products, or you just need help making sure your business is set up right... I hope this review will assist those who are desperately seeking help like I was. Thank you, CJ.

Expert in Enjoining Unauthorized Amazon Sellers

I consulted Cory J. (CJ) Rosenbaum regarding one of my cases, and I was very impressed with his expertise in Amazon seller policies, procedures, and disputes. He provided clear, practical guidance on how to strengthen injunctive relief language to protect an exclusive distributor against unauthorized... sellers. His recommendations on including specific details solely related to Amazon in a TRO were particularly valuable in ensuring precise protections. Highly knowledgeable about the nuances of Amazon’s platform and enforcement processes, he provided invaluable guidance in developing measures that strategically prevent and address harm from third-party violations.

The Go-To Attorney for Amazon Sellers and eCommerce Business Legal Issues

I'm Ashlin Hadden, founder and CEO of Ashlin Hadden Insurance Agency. I've worked with CJ Rosenbaum for years now, and as someone who insures Amazon sellers and eCommerce businesses, I see every type of problem sellers face on the platform. When my clients hit serious legal and non-legal issues with ...Amazon or otherwise, CJ is always my first call. CJ and I originally met at eCom Chicago where we were both teaching sellers how to succeed on Amazon. Hit it off immediately because we're both focused on actually protecting sellers and helping them build real businesses. Since then, we've crossed paths presenting at the Prosper Show in Las Vegas, ASD, Global Sources in Hong Kong, and various other trade events around the world. I've heard him speak probably a dozen times at this point, and he consistently knows his stuff better than anyone else in the Amazon legal space and in the non-legal issues helping Amazon sellers get their accounts back and their listings reactivated. I've used CJ for my own business issues too. Running an insurance agency in this niche has its own complications, and he's helped me think through business decisions, tax strategies, and other matters. He's also given me litigation advice on a few situations that I then brought to my local attorneys - saved me a ton of time and money having his input first before getting local counsel involved. But honestly, where CJ has really come through is with my clients. I've referred many Amazon sellers to him over the years. Account suspensions, trademark infringement cases, copyright disputes, problems with unauthorized sellers hijacking listings, counterfeit accusations - you name it, I've sent someone to him for it. Every single person comes back and thanks me. Here's what makes CJ different - he actually gets how Amazon works. Plenty of lawyers and non-lawyer consultants say they handle Amazon cases, but most of them don't understand the platform, the appeal process, or what sellers are really dealing with. CJ literally wrote the books on this stuff - "The Amazon Sellers' Guide to Suspensions and Reactivations," "The Amazon Sellers' Guide to Trademark Law," and "The Amazon Sellers' Guide to Copyright Law." I recommend those books to every seller and brand owner I work with. They're not fluff, they're actual useful information. My clients range from small private label sellers just getting started to wholesale operations doing millions in revenue. CJ treats them all the same - gives everyone his attention and expertise regardless of how big their business is. What I really appreciate is CJ doesn't just fix the immediate crisis. He helps sellers understand how to protect their brands going forward: Strategic thinking, not just putting out fires. CJ's also been generous answering my questions when I'm trying to understand a client's situation better. Even when there's nothing in it for him, he'll take time to explain the legal angles so I can serve my clients better. That says a lot about someone's character. I've also sent clients to him for non-Amazon stuff - business structuring, intellectual property portfolio work, general eCommerce legal issues. He's handled all of it well. In my role, I see Amazon businesses at every stage. When they're starting and need insurance and when they're scaling fast. And sometimes when everything's falling apart because of account problems or legal issues. Having CJ as a resource for my clients gives me confidence they'll be taken care of when things go sideways. Bottom line - if you sell on Amazon or run an eCommerce business, you need to know CJ Rosenbaum. Private label, wholesale, online arbitrage, doesn't matter. Account suspensions, trademark protection, copyright enforcement, brand management, appeals, arbitration - he's the attorney who actually knows what he's doing. I put my reputation on the line when I make recommendations, and I recommend CJ without any hesitation.

Outstanding Attorney for Asset Protection and Financial Matters

I've worked with CJ Rosenbaum for several years on various legal matters, and he's been incredibly helpful. Started out needing some advice on protecting assets, and it's turned into a relationship where I trust him with everything from investments to dealing with personal issues. Funny story - wh...ile I have known CJ for many yearas, I heard CJ's name on Sirius XM radio. I was driving and had POTUS on, and either Julie Mason or Laura Coates was talking about some woman who was getting slammed with hundreds of returns on her Amazon account. They mentioned CJ as the guy who handles that kind of thing for Amazon sellers and the host quoted CJ. I am not an Amazon Seller but when I need a lawyer, I call CJ. It was pretty cool that the same attorney who sits across the desk from me in Long Beach is the same guy quoted on national radio show. Having him local has been great. We've met at his office numerous times, and when you're talking about serious money and personal issues, sitting down in person just works better than phone calls. As a retired police officer, I've dealt with plenty of lawyers over the years, and CJ stands out. Here's the thing - while CJ focuses on Amazon, he also has a great overall pespective on other issues. I highly suggest anyone that has asset protection, tax planning, divorce-related, estate or other financial issues, get in touch. He's got range of knowledge beyond just Amazon appeals and intellectual property cases. Over the years, I've also asked CJ for advice for some of my friends from the police department who've had their own legal questions. He's always been generous with his time, providing whatever information and guidance he can. That says a lot about someone - when they're willing to help even when there's nothing in it for them. A lot of attorneys wouldn't do that. We've also gone over investment opportunities over the years. He always thinks long-term, not just about winning today but about how it affects you five years and 10 years down the road. He's good about returning calls and emails quickly. When you need to make a decision, you can't wait three days for your lawyer to get back to you. His office staff is on top of things too. Bottom line - if you need help with significant assets, investment planning, tax strategy, or family law stuff involving money, CJ's your guy. Yeah, most of his work is with Amazon sellers dealing with suspensions and trademark issues and brand protection, but he's clearly capable of handling complex financial and personal legal matters outside that world. And if you're on Long Island, having someone in Long Beach you can actually go meet with is huge.

Smart Business Counsel That Kept My Salons Afloat During COVID

I have owned several hair salons, and CJ Rosenbaum has been my go-to attorney for business advice for several years now. When COVID hit and everything shut down, I was panicking. I had leases, employees, equipment loans - all these fixed costs and zero revenue coming in. I didn't even know where ...to start. CJ helped me figure out a path forward. He broke everything down in terms I could understand, which was huge because I'm not a lawyer or an accountant. CJ was practical and pragmatic in his advice to me - not just "here's what the law says" but "here's what makes sense for your situation." What I appreciate most is that CJ keeps giving me business advice even after the emergency passed. We've talked about everything from lease issues, hiring and employment issues. I know from looking at his website that most of his work involves Amazon sellers - account suspensions, trademark stuff, brand protection, that whole world. That's not my business at all, but he's been great with salon and retail business issues. Shows he can handle different types of businesses, not just one niche. His office is in Long Beach, which is convenient for me. We've met there several times, though we've also done phone calls when I couldn't get away from work. He's flexible about how we communicate, which matters when you can't always schedule things weeks in advance. He has taken time at night and on weekends to help me. One thing that really stood out - CJ doesn't just answer the question you asked. He thinks about what else might be affected and brings that up too. Like when I was asking about one lease issue, he asked about my other business issues. That kind of thinking ahead has saved me from problems. If you're a small business owner, especially if you went through hell during COVID like I did, or if you just need someone who understands the real challenges of running a business, I'd recommend CJ. Most of his practice focuses on Amazon seller legal issues and trademark protection, but he's got solid business sense that applies to any type of company. He knows how to translate legal stuff into actual business decisions.
