Represented my ex wife 26 years ago

Mr Arbor was retained by my then wife to represent her in a divorce which I initiated and that my lawyer did all of the work. He consistently didn’t respond to my lawyer who was seeking input to the divorce paperwork that was being drawn up. After multiple non returned calls or emails my lawyer info...rmed him that he was submitting the documents to the courts. At that time the required QDRO was due to be submitted but nothing was done even though it was listed in the divorce paperwork. Fast forward 25 years later and I have attempted to retire but couldn’t due to the missing QDRO. Almost two years ago my now ex-wife contacted him again to retain him to do what was supposed to be done prior to the divorce. When dealing with this whole QDRO issue he moves like a glacier, barely responded to even the company he retained to do the quadro, he failed to include all the relative retirement assets that needed to be in the Quadro. I became involved in attempting to get the QDRO approved and submitted all the checklist retired documents and all he submitted was the incomplete QDRO 6 months after it was completed. The judge rejected it due to the late filing and requested a show for cause as to why it was so late. He verbally assaulted my ex wife when she attempted to get him to act in a timely manner and wanted more money for doing basically nothing. I would not hire this lawyer if he was the last one on earth and from the reviews I have read he has a pattern of this behavior.

Misrepresent

I hired Howard Arber to represent me, it was a big mistake. the case was, I co-signed for a loan for a friend and he stopped paying the lender, therefore, the lender came after me. Howard, he accused me of fraud, he said all kind of things to me and made me feel low. He showed no consideration and... he failed to conduct adequate legal research. One day, Arber mentioned to me that he is friend with the lender's attorney and he accused me of defrauding the lender and then I fire him. One day I hired another attorney, she told me Arber was supposed to file some papers with Nassau county clerk, he never did and it was too late to act on it. I located a few attorneys to try to sue Howard Arber for gross negligence, none of them wanted to take the case. They told me it was conflict of interest. This man should have lost his practice license, and thrown in jail like a criminal.

Great Attorney he will file anything his clients

Howard agreed to file a false quiet title action and a fake satisfaction of Mortgage from a fake company to help me try to defraud my mortgage lender. Howard was great. The scheme almost worked. Unfortunately now there is a criminal referral with the Nassau County DA ..but hey you win some you loose... some he definitely tried hard and I have to give him credit .

Not happy

Hired Howard to defend in a lawsuit. He did not focus on my case. He was unresponsive to my calls and lost a relatively easy case do to lack of communication. Would not recommend.
